Greetings to you all from Babal.Host! We're grateful for all your continued support and hope for the same in the days to follow. Continuing the tradition of updating what happened the last month, we bring you all the updates for the month of October.

New package released

A powerful package with 4 GB RAM, 50 Entry Process, 2048 IOPS, 20 MB/s I/O, and the ability to increase hourly cPanel wide email limit has now been introduced. The cost of the package will be 999/month or 9,999/year. We want this plan to be for those high-end sites and will thus restrict it to be able to host only one website out of the self with no limit on database count, emails, storage, or bandwidth. This will be based on our AWS server.

As we enter year 2 with rejuvenated energy and motivation to better what we achieved - we would like to thank you all for your continued support - directly or indirectly. Thank you, everyone, truly!

Year 2 is all about keeping up & improving on the same excellent service we have been able to offer so far while expanding our office location beyond Nepal. We are also looking to acquire struggling web hosting companies (or ones willing to sell) as a rescue to the company and its users.

Update to client area "Email History"

The email history section accessible from the client area will only include emails that are no more than 6 months old. Anything older will be flushed out at monthly intervals. We'll only be retaining emails for up to 3 months as we move ahead.

Response to ticket via email made possible

We hear you. We had received multiple responses of tickets (every month) in email and as they weren't checked by the support staff it would have caused a delay in the timely resolution of the issue. We have now setup in a way that your response to our reply of tickets would be recorded as a response in your ticket itself. That way, you do not need to return to your client area to reply to any of the tickets and can do it simply from your email address itself as a reply.

Some Statistics

In the month of October, we had 620 chat conversations with you all. The total duration for the live chat was 123hrs 12min 14sec.

Our average first response time for the month of September for the live chat was 41 seconds, which is an improvement of 3 seconds versus the previous month.

We also had a total of 110 support tickets open during this period. There were 170 total responses in the ticket including support staff response.

We currently host 2,525 websites across our platform and growing every day. We would like to thank you all once again for your continued support.

Routine task & Our commitment to our community

We're hiring: Customer Support - IT (Internship)

We're looking for someone who is in love with Babal Host for an internship role leading to a full-time position at the end of the 3-month period. You can work from home during this period and will primarily be responsible for handling live chat and updating blog articles. Office Opening: Updated

With the cases in Kathmandu valley rising we have reviewed our position on the official physical location re-opening date. Given the new reality, we will continue operating from our home location until at least the end of December 2020. We will continuously monitor the situation and make further decisions on the same.

Babal Host global ambition

Our ambition with Babal Host as we enter into year 2 this October 16 is to succeed in the international market with a country-specific website. With no marketing efforts, we do already have users from countries including the United States, United Kingdom, India, Malaysia, Australia, and Uganda. We're looking for an international partner company or individual who will be able to handle sales or tech communication over a call from the respective location while also setting up a company (or using existing) and taking care of legal and accounting needs. House Clearing

We have continued filtering out all the not-accepted orders and invoices to keep the number under 50. For this month, we plan to keep invoices and orders on the pending list for no longer than 30 days, we eventually target this to be 7 days or less as we move forward. Your order would be automatically canceled after that period. You can reorder the same thing though if you want. However, the promo code or any discounts used if it doesn't exist at the time of the new order would be lost.
