We hope that you and your family are safe and healthy.

.COM domain prices are increased by 7% from the current holder of the domain names Verisign starting from 31st August 2021 for all the registrars. Accounting for the credit card charges, transaction fee, and service charge involved - we're going to see a price increment of 9.1% at our end starting from 31st August 2021.

What this means is that from 31st August 2021, the following will be the prices for .COM domain:

Registration - 1,200/year

Renewal - 1,200/year

Transfer - 1,200/year

Any registration, renewal, or transfer before 31st August can be done on the current price which is 1,100/year. You can register your domain for a maximum of 10 years. And, renew the domain for a max. validity period of 10 years (i.e. the domain can't have more than 10 years left in the current life cycle).

We have had projected a price increase if the new agreement between Verisign and ICANN was to go in place in the first half of 2020 as in the blog post here:
https://babal.host/blog/likely-price-hike-for-com-domain-names/

This also appears to be the first of several more increments to come as they're allowed to increase the price by a maximum of 7% on 2022, 2023, and after 2 years gap from 2026-2029. An illustration of the same is as below:

Please note the new prices will come into effect on 31st August 2021. The new price will be applicable for registration, renewal and transfer-ins, and restoration.

We urge you to register/renew/transfer your domains on or before 30th August 2021, to get the best pricing.

We thank you for your understanding.
