As we are unfolding a new chapter in our venture, we are writing to you with what next is happening at Babal Host. Fear not as customer satisfaction remains our top priority and we are doing nothing to disturb you in any way.
As a thank you gift, we have upgraded your plans to have 2 GB physical memory permanently as opposed to standard 1 GB for your plan (applicable to all the displayed plans). Your satisfaction remains our utmost priority. We are always open to hearing from you if you may have any concerns, suggestions or criticism.
Now, let us look at what is changing:
- We are completely redoing our client area. The layout will be similar to the current one when it comes to elements but much simpler and faster giving the best user experience we can. This new design will work better even in your mobile device and will be rolled out from later today.
- VAT billing. Complying with the governmental regulations, we will start adding VAT charges for all our web hosting packages on offer at checkout starting from February 7, 2020. No extra charge will incur for domain names. For our current users, which is you – we do provide VAT exempt for the full month of Feb. Just let us know through any of our support channels after you place the order.
- Introduction of Zoho Mail/Workplace. As a cheaper alternative to Google's GSuite, we have collaborated with Zoho and will be releasing Zoho Mail/Workplace in the coming weeks. For anyone looking for a professional email/workplace solution – this is your answer.
- Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Sometime in the month of March, we will also be introducing hosting plans based on GCP. As Google deploys Cascade Lake Intel CPUs across their platform and they have a superior network because all traffic goes through their private global fiber – this will ensure we can provide even better computing.
- Package updates. We will be introducing new plans and revising the existing ones over the coming weeks. You will continue to get the same benefit and pricing even after this change as your current package price and features are locked.
