We hope that you and your family are safe and healthy.

Today, we have an important announcement to share regarding some upcoming changes to our domain pricing structure and the inclusion of Value Added Tax (VAT). We wanted to provide you with all the details so you can prepare for these adjustments.

Effective from July 17, 2023 (Shrawan 1, 2080 - start of a new fiscal year), we will be implementing a change to our domain pricing to ensure compliance with the tax regulations. Going forward, the current selling price of NPR 1,400/year for new .com domain registration, renewal, and transfer orders will now include the 13% VAT charge. Please note that any previously generated invoices will remain unaffected, honoring the pricing at the time of purchase. The VAT charges are added for any other TLDs as well.

To align with this change and account for rising costs soon to be announced by Verisign - the entity responsible for managing and owning the .com domain, we will also be implementing a price increment for domain renewals for .com domains starting from July 17, 2023. The new price for these services will be NPR 1,400/year + VAT, reflecting the increased cost and ensuring our ability to continue providing you with reliable domain registration solutions.

We understand that price adjustments can be challenging, but we want to assure you that these changes are necessary for us to maintain the quality of our services and support. We remain committed to delivering exceptional value and ensuring your online success.

Furthermore, we would like to inform you about an additional change to our domain registration pricing for .com domain, scheduled for August 31, 2023. On this date, the registration and transfer-in price for .com domains will be revised to NPR 1,600/year + VAT. This adjustment is a result of the pricing set by Verisign, the entity responsible for managing and owning the .com domain. It will enable us to continue providing you with the best-in-class services you deserve.

To help you transition smoothly, we will provide a grace period during which existing customers can continue to renew and transfer their domains at the current price of NPR 1,400/year + VAT. This grace period will last until August 31, 2023, giving you sufficient time to manage your domain portfolio and adjust your budgets accordingly.

We want to express our sincere gratitude for your continued support and loyalty. As a token of our appreciation, we will be offering exclusive incentives and discounts to our valued customers. Look out for further details on these special initiatives, which will be announced in the coming weeks.

If you have any questions, concerns, or require assistance regarding these changes, our dedicated customer support team is here to help. Please feel free to reach out to us via support ticket, and we will gladly assist you.

Thank you for your understanding and ongoing partnership with Babal.Host. We remain committed to serving your web hosting and domain name registration needs and providing you with exceptional services.

P.S. Verisign as per their contract is not allowed to do any further increment in 2024 and 2025 but are allowed to increase the price thereafter for 4 straight years in each of 2026-2029.

Quick Note/Summary:

1. July 17 (Shrawan 1) - Current price of NPR. 1,400/year will see the inclusion of VAT for any new orders (any previously generated invoices will lock in their pricing) - for new registration or transfer-in.

On the same date, we will see a price increment of domain renewal which would be NPR. 1,600/year + VAT to account for the price increment to come from Verisign. If you're renewing within August 31, 2023 itself - do let us know via live chat or support ticket and we can provide NPR. 200 as a discount.

2. August 31, 2023 - The registration price for a domain will be 1,600/year + VAT as well as the price increment from Verisign is forced.

The price increment is in-line with the price change that is to go on effect from August 31, 2023 from Verisign which is going to see an industry-wide price increment for the .com domain name.
