This is a gentle reminder about the upcoming .com domain price increase, happening on August 31, 2024.
With the increment going in-effect on Aug 31, the price for .com domains will be between NPR. 1,800 to NPR. 2,000/year. As such, this is your last chance to secure .com domains at the current price of 1,600/year and save on it by registering it for multiple years.
On Aug 31, 2024, this is how things will roll out:
- 8.00 AM: New price goes into effect for all new registration, renewal, transfer
- 10.00 AM onwards: Renewal price is updated to reflect in all product pages and manual renewal requests
- 10.15 AM onwards: Pending due invoice update to reflect the updated/new price for all previously generated but still due/unpaid invoices (any invoices already paid will not be impacted)
In case if you have any questions or queries or issues surrounding the same, please let us know via live chat or support ticket and we can assist you with the case further.

The price increment is happening globally as Verisign (the only body responsible for the sales of the domain) increased the wholesale price for yet another year.
There's some breathing space though as Verisign is not allowed to increase the price for the next 2 years. However, they can increase the price every year for 4 years to follow thereafter per their current contract.
