Hello everyone, we always believe that we are a happy big family. And, to ensure that we are all on the same page, we will update with you some of the statistics and what is cooking with Babal Host in the first week of every month. Below is for the month of July.

In this difficult time where the nation is still coping with the daily increase in the COVID-19 cases, we would like to request every one to take proper caution while moving out of your house. Please avoid any unnecessary visits/contacts. Given the situation, our office will remain closed until at least the end of September 2020 when we will reassess our position based on the overall situation. We will, however, continue delivering the same excellent service "working from home".

We've finally started posting more frequently on our Facebook page here: https://www.facebook.com/babalhost The trend will continue in the days to follow, we plan to go with the instructional blog post initially and then cover much wider topics.

Organic versus Artificial growth

For the month of July, we reduced our daily spending on advertisement by 2/3 meaning if we were spending 99 on any given day we only spend 33 during this period. We are shifting that focus on organic growth and will continue to do so in the months to follow.

Calling in all creators

Do you love writing or making a video? Have you used our product or want to use it? We can then schedule a time to chat or communicate via call as required. 

We will allow you all the creative control for creating your masterpiece and compensate you with your valuable time and effort - please let us know what's your ask before you start though :)

Hosting an event and looking for support?

The Babal Host team is grateful for the talented web designers, developers, and every one of you for your support to us. Together, you've all helped move us to the forefront of web hosting in Nepal. You have helped us establish as one of the first names when it comes to web hosting solutions in Nepal. We are grateful for it all.

In these strange times, we’re looking for ways to help support the digital community. With this in mind, we want to ensure that the sharing and the feel of the community don't stop. We will support in any way we can to help you successfully run your event be it by providing a Zoom license or providing marketing support or mentoring in the process. We're open for ideas - drop us a mail at [email protected] with a summary of what your event will cover and what support you expect from us and we can discuss further.

Changes to the domains - domain reseller plan soon (hopefully)

We're currently in discussion with multiple domain registry for a switch from the current one. One of the issues we were facing was that once the domain was transferred successfully to us, the domain status wouldn't automatically update at our end nor would the due date and other key parameters. We want to automate all of our routine works (so that we can spend much of our time with you all) and this didn't help towards that mission.

We are also testing one of the ICANN accredited domain registry to see if it works any better. We will know within a week's time if it is the answer once all the tests complete. Considering the test goes well, we will also be able to finally offer a domain reseller plan - which was much demanded. The following registry does also provide better offers at times and when it happens - we will pass on the savings to you all. Yay! :)

Babal Host recruits via live chat (for live chat and more)

We recently hosted an interview though live chat - this was a new experience to us but with the new normalcy, that is often how we communicate and work day-to-day. It only made sense to communicate in the same manner. It did provide us with the best outlook to make a decision. We plan to have the person guard the fort for us and provide exceptional service to you all during this period via live chat and also contributing to videos, blogs, and more.

We would like to thank the Jobs Sniper team for facilitating the hiring process. They were able to provide us with more than 20 applicants within 02 hrs. of the application call - which was a lot more than we could have asked for.

Some Statistics

In the month of July, we had 790 chat conversations with you all. The total duration for the live chat was 198h25m; which converts to over 8 full days. We also had a total of 101 support tickets open during this period - 92 of which was resolved/solved in the first response. 9 were resolved in the chain of responses.

We currently host 1,571 websites across our platform and growing every day. We would like to thank you all once again for your continued support.
