To connect your emails with Windows Live Mail, you've two different automatic options each with SSL/TLS and without it. You need to make sure to close Windows Live Mail before running this script. Once the script is completed, it will automatically start Windows Live Mail.

 

You'll have to visit cPanel > Email Accounts > Setup Mail Client (next to the email you want to add)

Here are the options that you can choose from. Each of these will download a VBS script into your computer. You'll need to run it to complete the process:

 

  • IMAP over SSL/TLS
  • IMAP
  • POP3 over SSL/TLS
  • POP3 (Post Office Protocol v3)

 

If the auto-configuration doesn't work, you can try the manual settings. You can get the details of manual settings from your cPanel > Email Accounts > Setup Mail Client screen.
