You can catch any email that is sent to an invalid email address for your domain with the use of the following feature. By default, we configure all the mail clients to send 'No Such User Here' error message to the sender of the message to a non-existent mailbox (if you don't have [email protected] for your domain name and if someone sends an email to that address, it currently sends an error message. You can opt to receive that and all other non-existent emails anyways in an alternative email address).

To do so, you need to open 'Default Address' located under 'Emails' in cPanel or simply search and open it from the top bar.

Adding Default Address

If you want to not receive any emails sent to an email alias that doesn't exist, just let it be at 'Discard the email while your server processes it by SMTP time with an error message.' But if you want to receive it anyways, you can select the other option as shown in the image above. Enter the email address you wish to receive those emails in and click on 'Change'.

Congratulations! You've successfully configured default address now.
